Theater, Costuming, and Stage & Instrument Tech Experience
General Theater:
• Experience in all aspects of theater production and/or management of a 530-seat proscenium mainstage theatre, a 150-seat black box theatre, outdoor amphitheater and dinner theatre.
• Working knowledge of touring theater company expectations and negotiations including
importance of venue size, staging, tech specifications, loading dock requirements; as well as riders for staffing, presenter responsibilities, and accommodations.
• Coordinated with touring theater companies with load-in, set-up, tear-down, and load-out.
• Assisted and led theater production aspects including auditions, casting, budgeting, logistics, stage and lighting design, volunteer staffing, equipment/props, rehearsals, and final performances.
• Facilitated award ceremonies, banquets, organizational fairs, special events, and fundraising events.
• Provided set design and installation for musicals, talent shows, public elementary school
productions and improvisation shows.
